Bullet Train

Bullet Train was a pleasant surprise for an action comedy film. Overall this movie was excellent! I really enjoyed the film’s action and comedy scenes, with the CGI and the whole train setup. The notable cameos of the different actors and actresses added to the comedy and the film.

Aaron Taylor-Johnson’s (Tangerine) and Brain Tyree Henry’s (Lemon) dynamic was the movie’s highlight. Their acting was perfect, making it look easy to work together and to work off each other to deliver comedic scenes. Brad Pitt’s character was a secret key to the comedy and action of the film, and I wasn’t expecting his character to add such quick, funny lines. His whole character’s personality made me think he wasn’t built to do his line of work, which made him a perfect character to give the best action scene because you are not expecting his fighting skills. He was very good at his job.

The plot for the film was perfect, with how they brought the different assassins together. It was excellent due to the storylines crossing each other and how the characters were related to past events. Adding these cross-overs caused an addition of mystery to the film. They were making this film more than just an action comedy film. The puzzle’s made me more tuned in to the movie. With all the storylines crossing, it still made the movie seem feasible and made a great way to the film’s ending.

I’m a sucker for fighting scenes when it comes to action movies, and this movie held up with the fighting styles of each character and the way the director (David Leitch) shot the fight scenes. I am falling in love with how David shoots his action films shot by shot.

This movie was action and comedic-packed with a good plot and script!
