Based on a true story/mission in the WWII period.
This action-packed, spy movie with some comedy sprinkled in was overall a perfect movie to see this weekend. I have always enjoyed the way Guy Ritchie has directed movies in the past. This film continues to show his great way of creating an action-packed project and bringing the script to the screen. Ritchie wouldn’t be able to bring such a project to life without the people behind the scenes and in front of the film. The great cast includes Henry Cavill, Alan Ritchson, Eiza Gonzalez, Hero Fiennes Tiffin, Henry Golding, Alex Pettyfer, and many others. Their acting, fighting stunts, and their portrayal of each character was an amazing performance.
The pace and visual action scenes were perfect for this 2 hour-long movie, there wasn’t a part of the movie that brought boredom to the surface. The film score during the action-packed scenes made them more intense and added a sense of drama and thrill. The comedy one-liners and other mini moments of comedy were such fantastic add-ons to the script. These funny moments, plot, action scenes, and the acting cast made me really enjoy the movie as a whole. Either though I have a soft spot for spy-action films, I would highly recommend to go see this in the theaters.
