Such a small film that makes a significant impact on the way you will view different aspects of life. It talks and shows you about kindness, friendships, loving others and being loved, feeling lost, fear, life, where home is, about being you and being enough.
The animation design was done wonderfully for this film. It’s as if you are reading the book but watching it in your head. The actors that played the mole, the fox, and the horse characters, did a great job. I especially loved how they used a soft-spoken tone, making it feel more like a book than a film.
Overall, this short film was stunning and will brighten your day to appreciate yourself. I recommend spending 34 minutes of your day watching.
My favorite quotes were;
“Small but make a huge difference.”
“One of our greatest freedoms is how we react to things.”
“You are loved and important, and you bring things to this world that no one else can.”
“Home isn’t always a place.”
The quotes that hit the hardest;
“Asking help isn’t giving up but refusing to give up.”
“Always remember you are enough just the way you are.”
“Sometimes I feel lost.”
Remember, you are loved and important, and you are enough just the way you are.
Short film (34 minutes) on Apple Tv, based on the book by Charlie Mackesy
